About

Homeschooled, in college classes at 13, and a competitor in almost every sport. Now a pre-law student-athlete at New College of Florida.

I grew up in the Tampa Bay area and was homeschooled, which gave me the room to move quickly. I started taking college courses through Hillsborough Community College at 13, joined the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, and finished my Associate in Arts before I arrived at New College of Florida, where I hold the Presidential Scholarship.

At New College I'm completing a double Area of Concentration in English and Political Science on a pre-law track. The two fit together better than people expect: both are about reading closely, building an argument, and asking who has power over whose story. My senior thesis will bring them together, starting with a tutorial on law and literature in Samuel Richardson's Clarissa.

Sports have been the other half of my education. I've competed in basketball, cross country, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, figure skating, dance, and flag football, and I've run a 15K. Coaches tend to describe me with one word: versatile. I've played every position on the basketball floor, and in one season I went from sixth man to starter and team leader, because I learn the game plan quickly and try to keep everyone around me motivated. In my first-ever cross-country season, as a senior, my teammates and coach voted me the team's most influential member.

I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, either. Homeschooling meant real projects: flooring, plumbing, painting, and working on my own car, from oil changes to a suspension upgrade.

What I'm working toward: law school, with a strong interest in sports law and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) policy. Athletes, especially those who come up outside a traditional high school program, face real questions about eligibility, contracts, and ownership of their own names. I want to help answer them.
